Yesterday, I gave a talk at the University of Michigan regarding nutrition for mental health. I had a fantastic time, and it’s really gotten me excited to go out and give more talks.
We were able to record most of the presentation, but due to a camera mishap, the end got cut off. This is a bummer, because the part that’s missing is where I talk about the importance of mindset and believing in yourself. (But, if you’re curious, you can read a few of my thoughts on that here.)
I plan on doing a webinar or another talk in the near future, and next time, I’ll get everything. But there’s a lot of great info here, and it’s still worth watching. Enjoy!
What are the 2 brands of probotics you recommend ??
Hi Laura, I recommend Prescript Assist and MegaSporeBiotic. They are both excellent!
Awesome talk. Wow.
Thank you so much, Lisa! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful talk Holly, I am going to up my protein and healthy fat consumption! Do you recommend any supplements in addition to this diet?
Hi Jacqueline,
Thank you! You’re on the right track! 🙂 I don’t make any supplement recommendations unless someone is a client. People are too individual and have many varied needs. For example, some clients really struggle with digestion, while others need more support with blood sugar regulation. If you check out the books in my resources section, many of those offer basic recommendations for supplements that support mental health. Best of luck, and don’t underestimate the power of food!
